Company History

National Restoration Systems (NRS) incorporated in August of 1992. Our main office is in mid-west and is located near Chicago, in Rolling Meadows, IL. Our east coast office opened in March of 1999 and is located near Boston, in Mansfield, MA.

We are general contractors that specialize in restoring and preserving our nation’s deteriorated concrete and masonry structure, including parking garage restoration, concrete restoration, masonry repair, buildings, bridges, dams, stadiums, etc.

As a concrete restoration contractor our work specialties include concrete restoration, parking garage restoration, masonry structure repair, terra cotta restoration, shotcrete, expansion joint replacement, sealant replacement, protective coatings, waterproofing, decorative epoxy flooring, epoxy injection, urethane grouting, externally bonded carbon fiber strengthening systems, industrial flooring, ADA warning surfaces and bridge overlays. Additionally, with the assistance of our sub-contractors, our projects typically include post-tension system repairs, hydrodemolition, shotblasting, plumbing, painting and electrical upgrades.

From a small company with 4 employees in 1992, National Restoration Systems (NRS) has grown over the years and now employs over 100 people during the summer months. We are able to bond projects in excess of 10 million dollars and we are licensed to work in 17 states, primarily in the mid-west and east coast regions.

Our many membership affiliations include The International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI), The American Concrete Institute (ACI), The Sealant, Waterproofing & Restoration Institute (SWRI), The Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC), The Concrete Contractor’s Association of Greater Chicago (CCA), The Chicago Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA), The Better Business Bureau (BBB), The Building Trade Association (BTA) and over 20 various local labor unions.

We anticipate continued growth and expansion and expect to open additional regional offices in the south and east in the near future.
